I work primarily with natural light, creating images that feel bright, refined, and organic. My editing is true to life and inspired by film photography - clean, polished and never shaped by passing trends, resulting in imagery that holds its integrity for decades.
As a Seattle family photographer, I take a calm, steady approach from the moment you inquire to the day your images are delivered. As a mom of three myself, I understand the beautiful unpredictability of family life. My sessions are designed to honor that reality — allowing space for the chaos, the movement, and the moments that truly define your family.
You don’t need to orchestrate anything or hope your children cooperate. My process supports real life, so come as you are!
If your toddler needs to move, we move. If they need a break, we pause. Rather than asking them to hold still, I follow their lead. Instead of trying to contain their energy, I work with it.
I’ll gently guide you with thoughtful prompts and direction so you never feel unsure, but nothing is ever forced. There’s no pressure for perfect behavior or constant smiles — only space to be present with the people you love.

how do we prepare for the session?
I will send you a detailed Session Prep guide that will cover everything from styling to how to prepare your kids.
WHEN WILL I GET MY PHOTOS & HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU DELIVER?
I will generally deliver your photos within 3 weeks (often sooner!). During peak fall season, turnaround may extend to about 4 weeks. You will receive all the edited photos, usually 75-100+ photos.
what time is best for family photos?
Golden hour (1 - 1.5 hours before the sunset) offers the most flattering, natural light. I also recommend weekday sessions whenever possible to avoid crowds in Seattle parks and allow for a more relaxed experience.
what if we get rained out?
I'll keep a close eye on the weather in the days leading up to the session as well as the hourly forecast the day of. If rain is forecasted, we'll reschedule the session.
Can I INCLUDE My extended family?
Grandparents are always welcome! If you’d like to include extended family beyond that, an extended family session would be the best fit, as it requires additional time and coordination.
can i bring my PUP?
Your four-legged pals are always welcome at our sessions. We’ll go over the logistics together at the time of booking.
WHERE WILL OUR SESSION TAKE PLACE?
I'm based in Seattle but I've photographed families all over the Greater Seattle Area. Whether you already have a location in mind or would like me to recommend one, we’ll decide together during the planning process.
what should we wear for our family session?
Styling is an important part of your session experience. Once your date is secured, I will send you a detailed Styling Guide, which includes ideas for everyone including dads and siblings. You may also check out my blog post on the topic.
