As a Seattle newborn photographer based in Laurelhurst, I create in-home lifestyle sessions that feel gentle, unhurried, and entirely centered on your family. I work primarily with natural light, crafting images that are bright, refined, and true to life. My editing is inspired by film — polished, clean and timeless.
The newborn and postpartum season can feel tender, overwhelming, and fleeting and I approach each session with patience and deep respect for what this chapter requires of you. My work centers on natural connection - the way you hold your baby, the quiet glances between you, the newness this new chapter in your family.
Newborn sessions are never rushed. We follow your baby’s rhythm. If feeding is needed, we pause. If your little one wants to be held, we lean into that. There is no elaborate posing or complicated setups/props - only connection, softness, and space to settle in.
My role is steady and reassuring from inquiry to gallery delivery. You can simply be present. I will take care of the rest.

Every detail is thoughtfully considered - from timing your session around the softest natural light and your baby's schedule to creating space for feeding breaks and slow transitions. The focus is always on craftsmanship and care, resulting in imagery that feels refined, emotionally grounded, and meant to endure.
Each collection includes a generous print credit to my professional lab, ensuring your photographs are not simply stored away, but printed and preserved as heirloom artwork for your home.

what if my baby is fussy/won't sleep?
That’s completely okay — I do not need your baby to be asleep. We allow time for feeding and soothing, and I gently follow your baby’s lead. Awake moments in your arms are just as beautiful and meaningful.
Do you use props or elaborate poses?
As a lifestyle photographer, my approach to newborn photography is natural and connection-focused. I do not use elaborate props or heavily staged setups. If you have any meaningful items, I'm happy to incorporate them, but the focus is always on your baby and the connection you share.
can siblings/grandparents join?
Of course! Your newborn session is about celebrating your growing family, and grandparents and big brothers/sisters are always welcome to be a part of that story.
what should we wear for our family session?
Styling is an important part of your session experience. Once your date is secured, I will send you a detailed Styling Guide. You may also check out my blog post on the topic.
what is your newborn photography style?
My newborn photography style is lifestyle — natural, relaxed, and centered on connection. Sessions take place in your home, focusing on genuine moments rather than posed studio setups. I document your baby in your arms, in the nursery, and within the spaces where your family is settling into this new season.
my baby is already here? am i too late to schedule newborn photos?
Not at all. While many families book within the first two weeks, beautiful newborn sessions can take place several weeks after birth. Please reach out and we can get you scheduled!
what if my baby is early/late?
Babies arrive on their own schedule and I account for this during scheduling. We'll choose a date near your due date and can finalize the date once your little one is here.
when should I schedule my newborn session
Most families schedule within the first two weeks, when babies are sleepier and naturally curl into classic newborn poses. Sessions up to one month are also beautiful, offering more alert expressions and connection.
